Shawna Forbes-King has devoted her career to fighting for individuals and families affected by asbestos and talc exposure. For more than 15 years, she has guided victims of mesothelioma through every stage of litigation—from first consultation to resolution—with compassion, attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to justice.
Shawna has handled all aspects of complex asbestos and mesothelioma litigation, including strategy development, depositions, expert coordination, and motion practice. Her depth of experience and hands-on involvement give clients confidence that their case is being managed with skill and care.
What drives Shawna most is the ability to obtain meaningful results for families navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives. She understands that each client’s story is unique, and she takes the time to listen, learn, and ensure their experiences are powerfully conveyed in court.
Shawna’s calling to help others runs deep. The daughter of a nurse and a teacher, she was raised to value compassion, service, and integrity—principles that continue to guide her practice today.
Her commitment to this work began in law school, where she took an Advanced Trial Advocacy course involving a mock asbestos case. The experience sparked a passion for representing victims of toxic exposure and led her to clerk for a firm that handled asbestos litigation. Since 2011, she has represented mesothelioma victims nationwide, providing the support, advocacy, and justice they deserve.
